Delayed publishing due to COVID-19

In spring 2020, Integrated Diabetes Services introduced me to a number of their patients across the world to tell their stories of “doing things” with Diabetes.

One of those patients, Deepak Malhotra, who lives in Dubai - had some scheduling conflicts, so we were unable to connect for a time (this is pretty typical of international interviews, as balancing busy schedules takes a lot of coordination when 8+ time zones are involved). But during our scheduling mixup, Deepak contracted Covid-19 - so once he recovered, he joined the pod to talk through his experience as a person with Diabetes.
